{ john's dr. seuss themed first birthday. wilmington, nc }

I love themed parties. John's first birthday was Dr. Seuss themed and what a cute party it was (fit with a real, live Dr. Seuss!). I gotta hand it to the man inside the suit. It was not a cool day out and there were a lot of kids to play with. I love that they even had green eggs....and well, hotdogs. But it works for me! Everyone had a great time, especially listening to Dr. Seuss read his own book. And of course, the cake was the best part.  I think you should always get your own cake on your birthday. Why do we stop that after the first birthday??

{ nothing like a trip to masonboro with the wallace family! wilmington, nc }

The Wallace family spends a lot of their family time taking their boat over to Masonboro Island so what better place to do their family pictures than one of their favorite places. They really haven't had family pictures since little Cameron was born! With three boys, the action is never dull but at least they all love the water. They're starting to take after their Daddy with surfing and could be in the water all day. We started out in the pool and then took the boat over to Masonboro to play in the ocean, where we ended the day with an awesome sunset. Didn't feel like work at all!
