{ laura's trash the dress session. hammondsport, ny }

Laura had mentioned doing a trash the dress session the day after the wedding since I was still going to be in Hammondsport, NY and the location she wanted to use was on the same property as where her and Eric were married. I didn't even skip a beat and was like "Let's do it!". I have been longing to do a trash the dress session and this location was going to be perfect. The words "glen", "waterfall", "cliff", and "rocks" got me all excited. Yes, the water was a bit chilly but my wonderful client, Laura, couldn't say "no" to me :)

We hiked down there the morning after the wedding, wedding dress bag in tote, and the closer and closer we got, the more giddy I was getting. This place was magical! I mean I was getting excited over moss. Moss! Wilmington just isn't that green and I realize that when I come to a place like this. When the pebbles turned into stone, they were like beautiful layers of slate and cold, clear water trickled over them. I really didn't want to leave. And for all you girls out there thinking you don't want to ruin your dress, cold water is actually good for it! And Laura's dress came out cleaner than when we started!

And then this is where they had to drag me back up the hill, kicking and screaming. The End.
