~THE EVOLUTION OF "STAY"~

Just to show you how hard it is for her to stay on her bed and not be near us. This is basically just over a timespan of 3 minutes.







And at this point I just give up.

~I LOVE CHUBBY BABIES!~

You NEED to meet my cute little....well she's my cousin's baby so what does that make her to me? Well we'll just call her my cousin's baby. Or we could just call her by her name, Taylor. That would probably make sense wouldn't it. She is so irrisistable. Just look at her! I recently got to spend the day with her at my grandmother's 80th birthday.


Can I take you home with me?


Is that a yes?


Oh not the arms!

~MATERNITY: MARIE'S FATHER'S DAY SHOOT~

Michael's cousin, Marie, wanted to do a quick shoot for a father's day gift for her husband since this is their first child! We had so much fun. He's a big Panther's fan so she had the great idea to wear his jersey for the pictures. He was so surprised. We'll be doing a bigger shoot once the due date gets a little closer to stay tuned!

~SNEAK PEAK: BETH'S BRIDAL SHOOT~

ok I had so much fun shooting Beth's bridal I just have to give you a sneek peak of her shoot! Just one is all you get because we don't want hubby or any of her friends to see her beautiful dress. I will certainly post more once the wedding comes but you'll have to wait until August!

~MY BIRTHDAY (YOU'LL WANNA READ THIS)~

SO my birthday was last week and it was wonderful! I never like a fuss for my birthday- I mean it means I'm aging- yay let's celebrate that. Can I stay 19 please? Well this one was so special for many reasons. I had a great time with my family friends out at Yosake sushi restaurant downtown, so good that I didn't take any pictures. whah.

I woke up to my wonderful husband leaving me the best card I've ever gotten and then beautiful flowers at work. Not to brag or anything. (but best card ever!)



After dinner we came home and there was a wonderful surprise waiting for me! (really good surprise!)


I mean isn't it perfect? I've wanted and lusted after them for so long.


That's hot right?


I could take pictures of it all day long.


But I won't. Moving on.

So then the in-laws came this weekend and brought me another suprise. (i mean awesome surprise!).


This is the other thing I have been lusting after for sooo long!


We'd been planning on building one ourselves but Michael's dad built it for us. Can you believe that? It's B-E-A-utiful!


I mean look at that grain! And color...



You can't get this anywhere but from a 100 year old piece of wood. And a blacksmith barn at that.

So remember that cute little fluffy puppy I showed you the other day? Well look what we came home to 2 hours after my table had arrived in my living room.



Oh yes. but that's not all. That's 1...

And I promise I didn't photograph the same corner twice. Somebody decided this was their new chew toy and not my birthday present. Oh yes. All my father-in-law's hard work. I was devastated. BUT i just have to remind myself that it gives it character and we'll have a story to tell everytime someone asks us why the corners of our table are like that.

It's ok Lucy, I still love you.

~MY BABY!~

Aw our little one is growing so fast! It was just yesterday that I could fit her in both of my hands together and she was all soft and fluffy. This morning Michael weighed her and she was 51 pounds! When will she stop? She still has all this skin to grow into and it's a little scary. I will be glad when the puppy chewing is over though. I found a black picture frame of mine with a whole corner missing the other day. Not good. You don't notice the growing until you look back at pictures of when they were teeny tiny pups. Lucy, I can't wait until you can have puppies! I'll have to start looking for a stud ;) Too soon?

5 weeks old

Look at how little and fluffy she is!

Now she's 6 weeks and getting into trouble.


How can you resist this?!

4 mos. Growth spurt...we need to stop these somehow.


5 mos. this must be the teenage awkward stage...bad hair...scrawny


7 mos and 51 pounds holy cow. but she finally got in the water and loves it! now if we can just get her to jump off the dock.

she's growing past her best friend. (please jump off!)
